Rendezvous with Destiny
The year of service in South Vietnam was roughly from September 1969 to June 1970. Our area of operation was in the Northern I Corps. Here the North Vietnamese had their mountain base camps and supply areas. It is here where you will find the famous A Shau Valley, the 35 mile long home base camp, infiltration route and supply house of the North Vietnamese. It is here where Scorpion 1, 2, 3, & 4 roamed in the jagged mountains, surrounding valleys, lush walls and fertile floor. It is here where recon carried out the day to day missions that were handed to them. This site is dedicated to all of whom that participated during this time.
